Midtown- W. 42nd Street and Madison Avenue -1940's?
Notice the Avenue runs both ways. Up until around 1980 nearly every street ran both ways, but now nearly all the Avenues in Manhattan and many more across the city travel in one direction.Downtown- ? -1960's?
Shiny garbage can, never been hit yet by blunt force trauma. The old sign-age with a bit more life.
