Hi over there, still love to read your blog and espacially your shift shots. Found something for NY cab drivers: there is a blog from a journalist - taxigourmet.com Her blog posts are about picking a cab and let him/her drive to their preferred restaurants, where they eat during their shifts. She established a map of the restaurants here: Maybe you can find some good places to eat.
hi thank you. I did come across that blog. was that the one where she was so excited about them that she decided to become a cab driver too? I have to check back there soon and see if she's begun driving.
As far as the restaurant thing goes, I can't really relate to it honestly, because I have a lot of food allergies, so I have a very limited diet.
There is another guy who used to be a cabbie, and asked all his customers where their favorite places to eat were, a total opposite blog of the other in that way. the hungry cabbie he calls himself, and he's done with the cab gig, but he bought himself an old checker cab and takes people on food tours now.
