Love that first shot!.How that reminds me of some Law and Order shows...also the shot of the men in their 'uniforms'... I know its not edited, love the mono look w/the color of the uniforms being the focal pt.. looks as tho it could have been planned since the lady is wearing a non color which compliments the muted buildings...u got an eye and steady hand there!.

What great snapshots of the smaller side of NY that some of us not from there might miss. Great work thank you.

thanks again everybody. they are edited too try to have the colors and contrast good to some degree and that one in particular the highlights were brought down in the background. but yeah as far as shooting it goes, it was very hit and miss.

great blog and pics! I do have a question however, that is sort of quirky. Can you tell me anything about the parrots in Brooklyn? I have heard of them, but have you encountered them in your traversing of the city?

The 'Midtown' photo is reminiscent of the Swiss Guard (though admittedly, a rather devil-may-care version) outside the Vatican in Rome. In NYC of all places ...

I love the top photo of Greenpoint. Those are the lonely corners I strive to find.

Also trying out your tip thingie...do you get a check for every check? :)

i think for every time somebody clicks small tip,big tip, no tip, it's like a survey and the votes are tallied. I put that feature in like a half a year ago, but it wasn't until i changed the format of the blog about a month ago that it started showing up and working.
