Very different images to "The Bronx" to what is potrayed on Tv. Looks beautiful.

For sure, and thank you, it makes me very proud of this post. Now parts of The Bronx can be very industrial and low income, much like parts of Brooklyn, but the Bronx is and always has had some very rich places, rich in both income and plant life.

Gotta love the 'No Outlet' sign in the first photo. What on earth does it mean? What does one do when faced with this sign? I have no idea. One of the funniest signs I've come across was in southern Belize - it said something like: 'Cars should yield to aircraft taking off and landing'! And a mile or two down the road was this one: 'Speed Hump'! I'm not kidding ...

yes very strange, wow being in a place to yield to airplanes would be awesome! Why they chose to make a sign that said 'no outlet' and not 'dead end' i'll never know, perhaps they didn't want their neighborhood sanctity encroached by the word 'dead' on a street sign. the sign should really probably read, 'this is a private residential street, if you're lost, you should probably turn around.'
