thanks for the appreciation, I'm reminded of other photo blogs particularly in the fall with this one, I think Joe's nyc blog has got some nice ones. yeah these newstands even if they're renovated, remain constant symbols of nyc with orginized chaos and piles and piles of information, advertising, drinks and snacks bombarding our vision and spaces. making an otherwise mundane depressing street corner, a vibrant display of all the choices a new Yorker can obtain for less than a few dollars.
