Shift Shots 2/28

-As I've said recently, it appeared to be the season for accidents in the pre-dawn hours of Saturdays and Sundays. The city gave us an early preview of the mild warm summer night, and with it, more people were driving in to Manhattan for a binge. This Hyundai probably got cut off by another vehicle. The bumper and grille were pressed into the engine bay, and the car may have been run off the street right on to the large sidewalk of Park Avenue South. I believe the accident occurred at around 2 or 3 in the morning while I was looking for a place to urinate. The final tow away finished up at around 7.

-This car was so new it still had the shrink wrapped user guide in the glove compartment. I still had the new car smell all shift long with a digital odometer reading below 30,000 miles.
