I remember only a year ago The Plaza hotel was under renovations and I was never sure when I took somebody there weather they knew this or if I should inform them. For a while now it has been back up and running. The new plan is to be mostly apartments for sale, and I'm not sure if there are any rooms available just for a night anymore. It was part of a plan from new owners of the prestigious building to change it over to apartments, somehow they thought it would make more money that way, only time will tell, but I suppose even less people would be willing to part with thousands upon thousands of dollars just for one night anymore.
